Doug Grimsted, CEO

Doug brings his widely respected vision and highly acclaimed achievements as a successful entrepreneur to Aginity. His drive to build better business performance tools influenced an extensive range of IT product development at Geneer, the Chicago-based consulting firm he founded. With the help of Aginity Director of Operations, Nancy Young, Doug grew Geneer’s annual sales to $27 million from inception. He also received broad recognition for pioneering the use of appliance computing in the RFID enabled supply chain at Adaptive RFID, which he founded and served as President and COO.

Doug spreads his entrepreneurial spirit as a counselor and coach in the Kellogg School Entrepreneurship & Innovation Program, where he has incubated and facilitated the start of 8 new companies. He is also a member of the Chicago/NW Indiana Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame and was an E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award finalist in 1999 and 2000.

Daniel Kuhn, CTO

Daniel contributes elite expertise in data and information systems honed in partnership with today’s most innovative enterprises. Daniel enjoyed the honor of being selected as a member of the Microsoft .NET Advisory Council for Whidbey, for which he provided feedback and direction for Microsoft's Visual Studio .NET 2005. At the same time, he served as Chief Software Architect and CTO of Click Commerce.

An entrepreneur with a curious mind, Daniel co-founded Anticipating Minds, a company that built intelligent software development tools to manage the complexity of software development through a deep understanding of code. He also won 2 U.S. patent awards for his cutting edge solutions with turbine engines while working as an engineer in the aerospace industry.

Nancy Young, Director of Operations

Nancy provides an outstanding track record in the development and implementation of critical operations for business growth. She is an expert at getting results for companies by building infrastructures that use flexible, repeatable processes to meet their business needs. Her post at Aginity reunites her with her former Geneer colleague, Doug. As COO, Nancy established an operational infrastructure as well as administrative, marketing, recruitment and sales departments, setting the foundation and guidance for Geneer’s rapid growth.

Like Doug and Daniel, Nancy thrives on stepping up to new challenges requiring her to make something from nothing. She created the operations infrastructure for TLC Network, where she also directed client acquisition, client management and partner management. At Frankel & Company, she composed the first ever operations manual and established formal recruitment and internship programs.

Richard Gendon, Vice President of Consulting

Mr. Gendon’s twenty five years of consulting experience, in both the private and public sectors has centered on bridging organizational planning to functional execution. As consultant, his career has covered a broad span of functional interests and industry segments. Past projects have included: Turnaround management; the development of strategic planning processes and strategic plans; city planning reviews; system reviews, improvements and implementations (including MRP, ERP, Advanced Planning and SCM); process improvement initiatives; and ISO reviews and implementations. Industry segments have included Agriculture, Finance and Insurance, Marketing, Software Development, Pharmaceutical, Consumer Package Goods and numerous Distributors and Manufacturers.
